Car
If you are driving, the most direct route to Chibembe in Simoni Village is to take the main road from Mongu. Head east on the A9 highway towards the town of Kalabo. After approximately 80 km, you will reach Kalabo. From Kalabo, continue south on the B9 road for about 35 km until you reach Mwanya. Once you are in Mwanya, follow local signs or ask locals for directions to Simoni Village. Chibembe is located in Simoni Village. Be prepared for some rough roads, especially as you near the village.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Chibembe by public transport, start by taking a bus from Mongu to Kalabo. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station in Mongu. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours and costs around ZMW 50. Once you arrive in Kalabo, you will need to find a local minibus heading south towards Mwanya. This minibus ride should take about 30-45 minutes and may cost around ZMW 30. When you arrive in Mwanya, you can ask locals for directions to Simoni Village, which is about 5 km away. You may need to hire a bicycle taxi (locally known as a 'mopani') or walk to get to Chibembe.

If you are feeling adventurous, another option is to rent a bicycle in Mwanya and cycle to Simoni Village. The road is not well-maintained, but it is manageable for those experienced in cycling. The distance from Mwanya to Simoni Village is about 5 km, and it should take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your cycling speed and road conditions. Ensure you have enough water and a map as the signage may be limited.
