Car
If you are driving to TIME + TIDE LUWI CAMP, start from the city of Chipata. Head south on the M6 road, which takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Eastern Province. Continue on the M6 for approximately 50 kilometers (about 1 hour) until you reach the turnoff for the camp. Look for signs indicating the direction towards Luwi Camp, which will be on a dirt road. Follow the dirt road for another 10 kilometers (roughly 30 minutes) until you arrive at the camp. Ensure your vehicle has good clearance for the dirt road.

From Chipata, take a local bus heading south towards Luwi Camp. Buses run regularly from the Chipata bus station. The bus journey may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Luwi Camp turnoff. Once you arrive at the turnoff, you may need to walk or hire a taxi for the remaining 10 kilometers to the camp. Always agree on a fare with the taxi driver before starting the journey.
