Getting There

Car

From Lusaka, take the Great East Road (A3) heading east towards Chipata. Continue on the A3 for approximately 200 km. You will pass through the towns of Kafue and Mumbwa. After about 200 km, look for signs directing you towards the Namwala Game Management Area. Turn onto the road that leads to Namwala, and follow the signs. The lodge is located approximately 50 km from the turnoff. The last stretch may involve some dirt roads; a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for this section.
Public Transportation

From Lusaka, board a bus heading to Namwala. Buses to Namwala are available at the Intercity Bus Terminus in Lusaka. The journey takes about 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Namwala, you can hire a taxi or a local vehicle to take you to Kaingu Safari Lodge. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the trip. The lodge is approximately 50 km from Namwala town, and the cost for a taxi may range from 200 to 300 Zambian Kwacha.
