Getting There

Car

If you are traveling by car within the Zambezi Basin, head towards the Kafue National Park. From Lusaka, take the Great East Road (A3) towards Chipata, then take the road leading towards the Kafue National Park entrance. Follow signs for Chunga, and once you reach the park, continue towards Mukambi Safari Lodge. The lodge is located approximately 16 km from the park entrance. Look for the lodge signs along the way. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition for rural driving.
Public Transportation

For travelers using public transportation, take a bus from Lusaka to Kafue town. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station. Upon arrival in Kafue, you will need to hire a taxi or use a local minibus to reach the Kafue National Park entrance. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and cost around 200 ZMW. Once at the park entrance, you will need to arrange for another taxi or a lodge transfer to Mukambi Safari Lodge, which is about 16 km from the entrance.
