Car
From the main entrance of Bvumba Botanical Gardens, take the tarred road heading east. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Vumba Post Office. Turn left at the junction, and follow the road for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Marindi Falls on your right. Turn right onto the dirt road, which will lead you directly to the parking area near the falls. The parking area is free of charge.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can catch a local minibus from the nearest town, Mutare, to Vumba. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around $2. Once you arrive in Vumba, ask the driver to drop you at the Vumba Post Office. From there, you will need to walk about 3 kilometers. Head east on the main road until you reach the junction. Turn left and continue for another 1.5 kilometers until you see the sign for Marindi Falls on your right. Follow the dirt road to reach the parking area. Note that there might be some walking involved, so wear comfortable shoes.
Walking
For those who prefer to walk from Bvumba Botanical Gardens, exit the gardens and head east on the main road. It's about a 3.5-kilometer walk to Marindi Falls. Follow the same route as described for the car directions, turning left at the junction near the Vumba Post Office after about 2 kilometers. Make sure to carry water and wear comfortable footwear as the last part of the journey involves some uneven terrain.
