Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Chimanimani National Park, head north on the main road towards Mutare. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Cecil Kop Nature Reserve. Turn right at the junction and follow the road for another 10 kilometers until you see the entrance to Cecil Kop Nature Reserve. Keep an eye out for signage along the way to guide your route.

Public Transportation
Take a local minibus from the main bus station in Chimanimani that is headed towards Mutare. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for Cecil Kop Nature Reserve. This journey will take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the junction, you may need to hire a taxi or walk the remaining 10 kilometers to the reserve entrance, as public transport may not directly serve that area.

If you prefer a more direct route, hire a taxi from any location in Chimanimani National Park. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The drive will take approximately 25 minutes, and the taxi will take you directly to the entrance of Cecil Kop Nature Reserve. The cost may vary, but expect to pay around $15-$20 USD.
