Assuming you are starting from the Hwange Main Camp, head southeast on the main road towards the Hwange National Park entrance. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a junction. Take the left fork (this is the road leading to the Mpongola River area). Continue walking for about 3 kilometers until you reach a small footbridge that crosses a stream. From here, follow the trail that leads along the Mpongola River, keeping the river on your left. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will start to hear the sound of water. Follow the path gently uphill for another 500 meters, and you will arrive at the Mpongola River Mini Falls.
