You will need to navigate through dirt roads, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Once you reach the Sapi River, you will need to cross via a pontoon ferry to Zambia. Note that the ferry may have specific operating hours, so plan accordingly. The ferry crossing costs approximately $10 per vehicle.

If you prefer public transport, you can start by taking a local minibus from the nearest town (likely Kariba) to Mana Pools. After reaching the park exit, you can arrange for a local taxi to take you to the Sapi River. Here, you will need to pay for the ferry crossing to Zambia.
