Car
If you are driving from Mutare, take the A3 highway heading towards Harare. Continue on the A3 for approximately 138 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A1 highway. Turn left onto the A1 highway, and continue for about 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Chinhoyi Caves on your left. Follow the signs and turn left into the entrance of the Chinhoyi Caves. Make sure to check the vehicle's fuel before starting your journey, as there may be limited services along the way.
Public Transportation
To reach Chinhoyi Caves via public transport, start by taking a shared taxi or a bus from Mutare to Harare. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Harare, you can find another shared taxi or bus heading towards Chinhoyi. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Chinhoyi Caves. The cost for the Mutare to Harare trip is around $5, while the Harare to Chinhoyi fare is approximately $2-3. Be sure to check the schedules in advance, as they can vary.
