I had a truly unforgettable photoshoot experience at Ashikaga Flower Park, thanks to my incredible photographer Haga-san. From the very beginning, he was warm, friendly, and exceptionally helpful—going above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Before the shoot, he provided clear and thoughtful communication, even advising me to reserve a seat on the Tobu Line for my commute from Tokyo, which made the journey stress-free. Haga-san’s deep familiarity with the vast flower park was invaluable. He knew exactly where to go for the most stunning backdrops, leading me to the most picturesque spots among the blooms. I chose to schedule my shoot during wisteria season to match my authentic 1950s dress with its purple bow, and the result was pure magic. Under his guidance, I felt like I had stepped into a fairytale—surrounded by cascading purple wisteria and vibrant flowers of every kind. The photos are exquisite and beautifully capture the essence of that special day. I now have timeless memories of my time in the park, thanks to Haga-san’s talent and care. Though the original booking was for the general Nikko area, I specifically requested Ashikaga Flower Park, and I’m so glad I did. I highly recommend booking a photoshoot tour like this if you’re traveling in Japan. For the most breathtaking floral scenery, try to visit during the peak wisteria season from mid-April to mid-May. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss.

What to expect

-This 1-hour Shooting can take place anywhere in Nikko, Tochigi -Please select your preferred shooting location and let us know via chat or when making your booking. -If you do not have a specific location preference, we will provide recommendations for you! -The original 100+ photo files are delivered within a week, and you can select your favorite 10 photos for Color Corrections. -Corrections are made to evoke a specific atmosphere, and if desired, adjustments can be made to mood and color. -Additional fees will be charged for outlying areas.

Nikkō Tōshogū

You can choose your favorite place, from popular tourist destinations in Nikko to local towns where the locals live. Please send us your preferred location in the chat! If you do not have a specific location preference, please let us know your favorite atmosphere and we will show you our recommended spots! A photographer will photograph you in your natural habitat for one hour in the vicinity of the location you have chosen. Please let us know in advance if you have any preferences for the atmosphere you would like to be captured. The shoot will take one hour and you will receive over 100 original images within one week of the shoot. We will then retouch and send you 10 of your favorite pictures.

Nikkō Tōshogū is a stunning Shinto shrine nestled in the beautiful mountains of Tochigi, Japan. A UNESCO World Heritage site, it showcases intricate architecture and rich history, making it a must-visit for tourists seeking cultural enlightenment and natural beauty.

The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.

(2) In the case of a change of location: Please choose from the indoor shooting spots we will show you and we will change the shooting location. (If it is sunny on the day of the shoot, we will shoot at the originally requested spot.)
(3) Cancellation: We will cancel the reservation with a full refund.
If rain is forecasted for the shooting spot 3 days prior to the shooting, or even if it is not forecasted, if it suddenly rains on the day of the shooting, the following three options are available: (1) change the date and time, (2) change the location, or (3) cancel the shooting.
If you are late for the meeting time, the shooting time and the number of data to be delivered may be reduced.
In this case, you will be asked to choose from the following three options (1) In case of date/time change: Please let us know your preferred date/time again. (Due to the photographer's schedule, it has not yet been determined if the date can be changed as requested.)
