What to expect
Challenge yourself with a hike up the Hoanglienson Mountains. Follow the less traveled trails. See the beauty of Muong Hoa Valley and meet the locals. Day 1: Go up Silver Rock Mountain to fully admire the beauty of the mountains and villages far from Sapa town. Pass by a Hmong village and a small highland school located in the mountains. Rest and meet the mountain goats raised by the locals (sometimes we don't see them either). See the Muong Hoa valley from above from the viewing deck. Learn about the cardamom plant and have lunch at the shack. Rest and continue the journey. Enjoy the scenery at the top of Heart Mountain and take great photos. Return to the shack to rest, prepare dinner, and watch the sunset. Day 2: Wake up early in the morning and greet the sunrise. Enjoy breakfast and depart. As you go higher, notice how the vegetation changes. Complete the journey and have lunch. Go down the mountain and descend to the foot of the mountain. Say goodbye to your guide and get picked up by car to return to Sapa town.
