After completing her degree in languages, she met Hans, a German brewmaster, during his visit to South Africa. They fell in love and she relocated to Bamberg, Germany after they got married. While raising their daughter, Liesel, Jessica works as a freelance translator, utilizing her language skills. She started her travel blog on Evendo as a hobby, sharing her experiences of exploring Europe and her insights into balancing family life with travel.

    The Alpin Family Resort Seetal in Austria. The hotel is specifically designed for families, with spacious rooms, kids clubs, pools, and activities that kept Liesel entertained, while Hans and I could relax and enjoy the stunning Alpine scenery.

    Exploring the Everglades in Florida with my family was quite the adventure! Canoeing through the waterways, spotting alligators, and camping on a remote island was an unforgettable experience that pushed us out of our comfort zones.
