Meeting Point
We meet at the statue which is located on the corner of the large brown city hall made of bricks next to the large and busy road called H.C. Andersens Boulevard
Rådhuspladsen, 1553 København V , Denmark
What to expect
The center of the city and the place where Danes gather in the hundreds of thousands to celebrate when we win a large sporting event or a war.
Copenhagen City Hall
The impressive city hall built in 1905 is the house of the administration of the city of Copenhagen
Tivoli Gardens is famous as one of the most beautiful amusement parks in the world and probably the only one that is located in the middle of a big city
Stroget
The World's longest pedestrian shopping street
Rytterstatue af Absalon
The equestrian statue of the bishop who founded Copenhagen in 1189.
The parlament of Denmark, the supreme court and the prime minister all reside in this huge palace. From this spot you will also have all the ministries, the central bank and many other interesting buildings pointed out. Copenhagen was founded here and the guide will tell the story.
Christian IV's Brewhouse
The enormous brick building built i 1618 located in the harbour. We stop here for an elaboration of how the harbour served as navy base in the Renaissance
The old stock exchange from the early 1600s is a remarkable building with a tower made up of tails from three dragons
Holmens Kirke
This church from the 1500s is where prime ministers are buried and Royals are married. We enter the church if it is open (depends on church activities)
Copenhagen King's New Square
Beautiful square built in the Renaissance and surrounded by impressive buildings from the 1700s. The walk ends here and the guide will tell you how to get back or how to continue exploring the city by walking to Nyhav (New Harbour), The Royal Amalienborg Palace and The Little Mermaid.
Nyhavn
The iconic "New Harbour" with the colourful houses was dug out in the 1600s by Swedish prisoners of war
Amalienborg Palace
The Royal residence where the King and his family lives in four huge mansions from the mid 1700s. Dramatic fights took place here during World War II
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
