What to expect
Grand Army Plaza
We start our tour near one of Brooklyn's most beautiful plazas, Grand Army Plaza, we then proceed to the beautiful Montauk Club and stroll along tree lined 8th Avenue
As we meander through this lovely neighborhood you'll learn about the history of the homes, the people who lived in them and then we head up to Prospect Park West. You'll learn about how the park was developed and the role it played in the development of the neighborhood, just like it's brother in Manhattan, Central Park. Famous and wealthy people occupied the homes along the park and still do!
Flatbush Avenue
We'll descend down the slope from Prospect Park to 7th Avenue. You'll see quiet out of the way streets which Hollywood has used for many movies! We'll discuss Park Slope most important commercial street, the home of beautiful boutiques, great restaurants. Once upon a time, Park Slope had a pub that many would call the "Cheers" of the neighborhood. And sadly, unknown to many today we'll stop at the site of America's worst aviation disaster until 9/11/2001.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
