Train
From Greenwich Station, take the Metro-North Railroad train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street Station in Harlem, New York. Transfer to the A or C subway line at 125th Street Station and head towards Brooklyn, getting off at the Franklin Avenue Station. From there, walk east on Eastern Parkway and turn onto Flatbush Avenue, where the Prospect Park Zoo is located at 450 Flatbush Ave.
Bus
Take the CT Transit bus number 10 from Greenwich to Stamford. At Stamford Transportation Center, transfer to the Metro-North Railroad train heading towards New York City. Get off at the 125th Street Station. From there, take the A or C subway towards Brooklyn and get off at the Franklin Avenue Station. Walk east along Eastern Parkway and turn onto Flatbush Avenue to reach Prospect Park Zoo.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, you can ride from Greenwich to Brooklyn. Head northeast on the Greenwich Avenue and follow it to the Merritt Parkway Trail. Follow the trail to the Bronx River Greenway and merge into the Bronx River Parkway. Continue south, then take the Bruckner Expressway towards Brooklyn. Once in Brooklyn, navigate to Flatbush Avenue, where the Prospect Park Zoo is located at 450 Flatbush Ave.
Walking
If you are up for an adventure, you can walk to the nearest train station. Head to the Greenwich Train Station, take the train to New York City, and then transfer to the subway as mentioned previously. From Franklin Avenue Station in Brooklyn, it is a short walk to the Prospect Park Zoo at 450 Flatbush Ave.
