    Felix, out tour guide was excellent. The only complaint if anything is that we weren't made aware that the cable car has been down for two years. We were looking forward to ithat and thought it was active.

    Alejandro was great and very informative. He acted as our personal guide the whole way through and ensured we got back to the ship on time even though we got stuck in a car and he had to risk the cars tyres to get us out. An enjoyable day. Thank you

This is done in the cabin which will go up at its own time of 8 minutes in this you will see the importance of ecology for the mountain and the entire National Park to which it belongs. Visiting the Puerto Plata cable car is a highly recommended experience. The trip itself is an exciting adventure, as the cable car rises to a height of 800 meters above sea level. The views from the top of the mountain are impressive, and you can see the entire city of Puerto Plata and the surrounding coast and its Atlantic Ocean!
