    We had a wonderful day in Chester. Our guide was very knowledgeable and started us off with a walking tour into the historic old town. We then had plenty of time to wander on our own. We chose to visit the Cathedral and then do a little shopping. Very fun to walk the walls of this beautiful city. Very recommended.

    trip cancelled the day before and substituted for North Wales trip which was fabulous with Busy Bus.

    We incorrectly assumed a half day tour was 4 hours. We were surprised to find this was a 6 hour tour. Was good, but a little more time than we preferred to be in Chester. If you want lots of time in Chester, this is a good option. Tour guide gave us a good walking tour to start, then we had some independent time. Guide pointed us in the right direction upon return to the port for a few Beatles pics we wanted to snap. All was well.

    Easy tour, informative tour guides...even assisting with directions to specific shops requested....Frank our tour guide was very congenial and it was a bonus that our driver Keith was a Chester local!

    Busy Bus's tour of Chester was so much more than we expected. Our guide Frank was knowledgeable and very funny. The town of Chester is amazing. If you are a history lover, its a must see. Great Tour.

    As we walk along the Chester walls. we become parallel to the River Dee where you can marvel at the sparkling river, with occasional glimpses of wildlife such as herons and kingfishers. Capture stunning shots with your cameras so that you can show you friends our local history.

    Lower Bridge Street

    Here we see some of the oldest buildings in Chester dating from Tudor times all the way through to Georgian. See where King Charles I had his last meal in Chester before escaping into Wales. Spot Georgian era Tax Evasion and more!

    Step back in time as you explore the unique and historic Chester Rows, a one-of-a-kind shopping and architectural marvel dating back to the medieval era. Wander through the famous two-level covered walkways lines with boutique shops, cafes nd artisan stalls. Take in the stunning black and white timber framed buildings that create a picture-perfect setting, many dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries. We see more superb architecture as we head to the centre of the city.
