The guide was so knowledgeable and not only took us on a journey through the history of Chicago but infused her love of architecture into her presentation. My only complaint is that the ViaTour description does not match the included amenities in the confirmation. It said alcoholic drinks and snacks but there was only soft drinks. Not a problem for me but it should be accurate.

Great experience - the docent was entertaining and knowledgeable - the views were stunning! The tour covered Chicago history, the Chicago fire and the reversal of the Chicago River and many other topics.

Great trip! Free coffee and refreshments! Learned lots about Chicago! Easy to find and very accommodating as we went on an earlier trip cause we were early!

Even with rainy weather and fog I still had a great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of information. Thank you for providing ponchos.

Aimee_F

The guide on our body was so knowledgeable it made this a very pleasant, interesting trip despite rainy weather.

The Guide was very good with few exceptions, two that stood out. The Trump Tower was left out of the tour, and as the building owned by a former President, this was a critical error. Secondly the the use of woke phrases show a "tip of the hat" to the misguided culture. Otherwise, this was a thoroughly entertaining tour and very informative.

Jim was an awesome guide. As an architect, I would say he was very knowledgeable of the incredible buildings, the cityscape and the city’s history. The boat ride itself was very comfortable.

Our tour down the Chicago river was wonderful. I’ve done this tour several times. Whenever out of town guests come, I always take them on an architectural boat tour. Our boat captain was great with giving g is our safety information. I knew safety was important to everyone. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable. I enjoyed her stories and information so much. (Sorry I don’t remember names). I’ve done this tour many times before and I’m amazed I learned new things about Chicago. Our guide was pleasant to listen to and was able to keep everyone’s attention. I also liked the area where we met the boat in Streeterville off McClurg Court. It was a pretty area while we were waiting to load. Every aspect of the architectural boat tour was a 10.
