Well beyond expectations !! David was exceptional and really welcoming . You simply cannot visit Chicago without doing this tour!!!!!

Our first time in Chicago. We enjoyed our boat tour with Dave. He knew his stuff. He gave us some great insight about the city, the river, and its history. My teenage girls liked the tour and ranked it above our other activities in the city. We really liked that the boat was byob.

We had the BEST time with tour guide Dave! Such a fun and unique Chicago experience for a group of friends and family. Would recommend to anyone, both visitors and locals!

What a great time! Captain David was super and we had a fun evening. You can BYOB on his boat so we had just what we wanted to drink and it didn’t cost a lot. Nice surprise that this boat has an electric motor so it’s very quiet. David knows lots about the architecture of the buildings we passed. We will book this again for sure !

Our boat tour with Dave was a core memory for me and my best friends. His knowledge of Chicago is unmatched we learned sooo much! Even as Chicago natives! Thank you Dave for an unforgettable evening we will be back for more boat tours all summer long!!

The reason we loved the tour (besides how amazing David was) is because they focused on having fun and sharing facts. We were able to bring pizza and wine which brought the rating to a full 5/5.

The tour was absolutely wonderful. I've done the big architecture tour where you are with a large number of people before and this one was 100 times better. The boat fits twelve but our group had 6 and there was still plenty of room for others without feeling cramped at all. The weather was bit cold, but the boat had an enclosure that was still visible through that kept us pretty warm. Dave was SO FUN and knowledgeable. We not only got really great information, but having a small group made it a lot more comfortable to ask questions. I highly recommend doing the private boat tour, it was a wonderful experience and I will absolutely be doing this tour again next time I have friends visiting from out of town. It is a beautiful way to show off Chicago.

The views were amazing I love the city in the summer and seeing it from the river in a boat is always breathtaking. The guide was also very informative and easy going making the entire trip comfortable the whole time.

Beautiful scenery. Super friendly knowledgeable guide. Dave gave us all kinds of fun facts about Chicago and the river itself. Hug plus for me, the boats are electric, no noise, no pollution.

This tour was fantastic! Our guide Dave was very friendly, funny and witty in this informative tour of Chicago architecture and its history. He did a stellar job as he navigated us through the heart of the city’s spectacular views. It was neat to have a private tour in an intimate setting with friends, and I will happily book WeVenture again for this incredibly cool and authentic Chicago experience!
