Jonny arrived at our hotel on time to collect us for the tour. He had been happy to respond to messages online prior to our arrival in Berlin & continued to answer all the questions we fired at him during the tour even those not directly related to the tour we were on!! Jonny’s 13 years experience of living in the city makes him a very knowledgeable guide & our tour was pitched at the right level for our first time in Berlin. He would be equally a good guide for ‘youngsters’ as well as older age groups. He was very informative giving us further recommendations of places to explore further which we did; we followed his self guided Potsdam walk to Sansoucci gardens from his website which was a great day out as all the details were easy to follow & correct. We would certainly recommend Jonny & his tours.

Great guide. He was very knowledgeable, nice and gave us a lot of interesting information, specially on the history of the 20th Century, including the Second World War and the construction and fall of the infamous wall that divided Berlin. It was a leisurely stroll through monuments and history. I strongly recommend the tour and the guide to those willing to understand the city beyond its monuments.

Johnny Whitlam is an experienced and fantastic tour guide! I did the Highlights of Berlin tour on the day I arrived in Berlin in the morning and it was the perfect introduction to the city. Jonny met me at my hotel and off we went to adventure through the city! Jonny is very knowledgeable about Berlin and shares both the history of Berlin and currently what’s going on in the city. We stopped for a coffee and some delicious fruit tartes along the tour, which was great, because it was cold outside (it was the beginning of March). I would highly recommend Jonny for a tour if you are coming to Berlin!
