Driving through olive groves, we ascend the mountain to reach Lakones, the village with the enchanting view towards Paleokastritsa and western Corfu. Continuing our journey on the western side of the mountain, we will encounter the Angelokastro, the Byzantine castle from the 13th century, situated on a rugged hill.
