    This a smaller tour with new and upcoming wineries. You are taken along the river and you will not be waiting in lines as you are away from the tourists. Guide is at the top of his game with a much information related to the wine, food and culture. I do recommend this tour if you do not want to be with 50 people on a bus touring the same things as everyone else. We shared good wine and laughs!

    Incredibly good, authentic, nice, and delicious experience! Highly recommended! We were out with Jean on a one-day wine tour in the Douro Valley and it was incredibly beautiful. We would do it exactly the same way again. Why? Small group, personal attention, super nice guide, great places (2 wineries, one small, one medium), and such delicious food!!! It was an experience—exactly how you want it on vacation. And the group was a great fit, too. Jackpot!
