Ponte Pedonal Metalica de Peso da Regua

(Pass by)

The metal bridge was built in 1872 by King D. Luís I for crossing the Douro River and has been deactivated since 1949 due to the state of degradation of the wooden board. In 2012 she was the target of a profound intervention that adapted her to pedestrian traffic and today is a point of attraction of the city of Peso da Régua, having as a differentiating element its lighting that at night turns it into ex-libris landscaping of the Douro Valley.

Pinhao Railway Station

This station, which has been used since the train arrived in Pinhão village in 1879, is a point of reference for tourists visiting the Douro, mainly due to the tile panels that decorate it, with references to the landscapes of the Douro Valley and the winemaking activity in the region. It still retains its original functionality, now enriched with a modern store selling wines and other regional products.
