Take the train from Bergen to Myrdals, then the Flåm train to Flåm. From here we should have taken boats on fjord sailing - unfortunately cancelled due to technical problems with the ferry (we got a refund in the ticket. Here, fjordtours should have changed the rest of our return ticket to Bergen, as there was extra waiting time for the rest of the journey). From Flåm and back to Voss we drove by bus. In Voss it was again train to Bergen. The tour was purchased through fjordtours, but can recommend yourself to stand for the individual purchase of tickets.
The tour was chosen because it is among the most beautiful things you can experience from a train wagon, and because there was fjord sailing included.
There are many tunnels on the train trip to/from Bergen - really many tunnels.
The Flåm track was characterized by the tourist who stood up to look out the windows, which makes us on the opposite side of the passage could not see anything. And you sit with a seat in the middle of the hallway and you only get half the experience as the windows in the train are relatively high
For good reasons, I cannot report the Fjord ride, the tour was replaced with a bus tour where 16 of the 20 km took place in tunnels. We landed in Gudvangen an hour and a half before time, and 15 minutes before the kitchen closed at the hotel (the kitchen closed at 18:00).
From Gudvangen the tour went by bus to Stalheim Hotel where there was the possibility of a picture through the valley - a very beautiful view area. After photo stop, the trip went to Voss to switch to the train back to Bergen.
Should I change anything on the trip I would take the train to Myrdal, jump on a rental bike down to Flåm along Rakkavegen and take the Flåm track up to Myrdals and return by alm train again. Maybe buy a fjord sailing down at Flåm.
