What to expect
Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport conveniently via any international flight you like. You can see us at the airport as we will be waiting to receive. Immediately after we receive you, we make a comfortable transfer to the hotel. Take your time for relaxation and rest.
Kathmandu
You use this free day to adjust this new atmosphere of Kathmandu. You will visit our office and talk briefly about the trek. If you require trekking gear, you can go around Thamel and buy them. Enjoy the evening taking a walk and having beautiful dishes. Optionally, you can do a Half-Day Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour.
Phakding
You will take an early morning breakfast today. We are flying early in the morning to avoid bad weather. Enjoy this short flight for 35-40 minutes with spectacular landscapes and mountain panorama. Land at Lukla airport and prepare for the formal walk to Phakding. Walkthrough Lukla town and lush forest before you arrive at Phakding. Stay overnight at the local lodge. Important notice: “Lukla flight is departing and returning to Ramechhap Manthali airport due to ongoing upgrades at Kathmandu airport. It’s about a 4/5 hours drive to Ramechhap from Kathmandu so we will get started for the airport around 2:30 am. The return drive at the end of the trek is between 4/5 hours”.
Namche Bazaar
Initially, you head towards Monjo . You will find the Sagarmatha National Park Authorized office here. You get your permits checked and let you enter into National Park. Now, you begin to enjoy the walk-in Sagarmatha National Park via deep woods, traditional Sherpa settlements. You will also see the Dudhkoshi river today and finally ascend up to Namche Bazar. You will take a short walk around the city in the evening if you like.
Namche Bazaar
This day is for acclimatization and exploration at Namche Bazaar. We hike up to Hotel Everest Viewpoint and take beautiful pictures of Mt. Everest and other towering mountain summits with a stunning sunrise. The awe-inspiring landscapes and incredible Khumjung village are spectacular from Hotel Everest View. After that, we walk down to Namche Bazaar and some people love to take another walk to Thame Monastery. Enjoy the walk around the city in the evening observing beautiful shops, cafes, hotels, ATMs, and beauty salons.
You will enjoy today’s trail with an incredible view of Amadablam. It takes 15-20 minutes to pass through Namche Bazaar until we get the main trail. Trekkers will see mules and yaks carrying foodstuffs. Enjoy the walk along the newly made flat trail and go down to the riverside. Cross the river and ascend up to Tengbuche. The holy Tengbouche monastery is the main attraction of Tengbuche town.
Dingboche
Still, the view of Amadablam will be dominant throughout the trip today. Today will be the finest day to enjoy the walk via the deep woods of Sagarmatha National Park. We cross Dindboche Khola ( river) while approaching Dingboche. Arrive in Dingboche and observe this beautiful town.
Dingboche
Some people just take rest and relax at the lodge and some do a walk to Chukkung Valley. The walk to Chukkung Valley begins after breakfast. It takes 2-3 hours to get to Chukkung. We have lunch here and trek back to Dingboche for overnight stay. The Island Peak and other Himalayan giants are breathtaking from Chukkung Valley. Some trekkers also like to climb Chukkung ri.
Lobuche
We pass through a number of ridges to get to lobuche today. Mountain views on the way will equally be magnificent. You will enjoy alpine bushes and the dry landscapes on the toddy’s trail. You pass Sherpa People’s graveyard before getting to Lobuche. Lobuche is located on the riverside.
Gorakshep
Today’s walk really makes you feel blessed with incredible mountain panorama, glaciers and avalanches. Initially, we trek to Gorekhshep, the town below Kalapatthar, have our lunch there and trek to Everest Base Camp. Celebrate the moments of putting your footsteps at the base camp of the highest peak of the world and walk back to Gorekhshep for overnight stay.
Rise at between 4.30-5 am and climb Kalapatthar. Go to the top of Kalapatthar and wait for the sunrise. You will see a number of trekkers with their cameras facing towards Mt. Everest. The sunrise makes the entire setting of the mountain panorama enticing and you will capture them. Mt. Everest, Pumori, Nupse, Loatse and other mountain giants are worth capturing. Then, we walk down to Gorekhshep and have breakfast. After breakfast, we continue our trek to Periche via Lobuche.
Pheriche
We are walking down now to Kyanjuma via Tengboche. After we pass Tengbuche, we walk down to the riverside. We cross the bridge and catch the trail leading towards Kyanjuma among three trails: one heading to Namche, the next heading to Khumjung village, and the last one going to Gokyo. Walkthrough lush rhododendron experiencing some alpine species of wildlife. Enjoy the magnificent Twache. Thamserku and Amadablam on the way.
Monjo
Initially, we ascend to a beautiful village called Khumjung. Next, you will go to visit Hillary School. The school was built by Sir Edmund Hillary. You will also visit Khunde village and explore the surrounding before you walk down to Namche. Finally, we trek to Monjo via Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight at the local lodge.
Lukla
Although this is the last day-hiking to Lukla, you will excitedly celebrate this walk with spectacular memories you have collected during this trek. Pass Phakding and ascend up to Lukla town. You can take a walk around the town and the airport in the evening.
Kathmandu
Board on the flight early in the morning because the wind may disturb your flight in the late morning. Capture astonishing views of mountain panorama during the flight. Land in Kathmandu Airport and transfer to Hotel. After you refreshed, you can do shopping or any other activities you like. We will meet in the evening for a beautiful farewell dinner.
Kathmandu
We drop you at the Kathmandu airport so that you can make an easy departure. Catch your international flight and make your return trip to your country/hometown.
