The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT), also known as the Elephant Orphanage, is located in Nairobi, Kenya. It is one of the most well-known elephant sanctuaries in the world, dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants, often victims of poaching.
