Drive back to Ahmedabad and visit the 15th century Sidi Bashir Mosque, famous for its Shaking Minarets whose mystery has still not been unravelled. When one minaret is shaken, the other begins to vibrate. Next visit the beautiful 16th century Sidi Saiyyed Mosque and take a look at its delicate stone latticed windows.
From there you have the option of either visiting the Utensil Museum or taking a look at the lovely kites at the Kite Museum. The Utensil Museum has a large collection of utensils some of which are over a thousand years old.
Your next stop will be the Sabarmati Ashram, from where Mahatma Gandhi started his non-violence movement and eventually led India to freedom.
Then drive over to the Hutheesing Jain Temple that was built in 1848 at a time when Gujarat was reeling under a famine. The construction of the temple provided livelihood for hundreds of skilled artisans. Take a walk on the landscaped Sabarmati Promenade before you stop for an included lunch (beverage excluded) at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will be dropped back at your hotel
