What to expect
Arco de Santa Ana
Today we will visit the Arch of Santa Ana, a monumental triumphal arch of two floors, with a 3,44 mts. passage in a round arch emptied in the stone mass of sandstone masonry of the lower floor.
Campanario De La Plaza San Cristobal
We will also visit the San Cristobal Bell Tower, which has one of the most beautiful views of Cusco, besides being very close to the main square. It is a stone bell tower built in 1950
Mirador desde el Cristo Blanco
Then, we will continue to the White Christ, the most famous monument of the city of Cusco. It is a statue of Jesus Christ that reaches 8 meters high and raises his arms as a sign of protection on top of the city
Later, we will go to Calle 7 borreguitos, a very picturesque sloping street. It is known by this name because it was the route used by the locals to move their bundles and animals, including sheep. Finally, we will visit the Aqueduct of Sapantiana, a colonial wall built in arches of four levels, and most probably with lithic elements of the Huaca Sapantiana located just a few meters away. Before 1950, water still flowed through the canal above it; the water was for the consumption
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
