    What serene and gorgeous views at Hvammsvík, and the sun slowly setting in the evening provided such lovely golden hues! This was one of my favorite experiences in Iceland, and in my opinion surpasses Sky and Blue Lagoon! It is also a beautiful one hour drive from Reykjavík.

    Well organised transfer. Driver was really friendly. The hot springs were a little busier than we expected but not over crowded. Wonderful natural scenery. The seafood soup they serve in the restaurant was delicious. Pricey but a nice treat.

    Hvammsvík hot spring was amazing! We were lucky to have a warm sunny day to enjoy the outdoor pools. The seafood soup in the restaurant was delicious, great to have after a relaxing spa experience. The pickup and drop off process was very easy. Only 50 min drive from Reykjavik. Very friendly driver.highly recommend this day tour.

    Springs, restaurant, and facilities were all wonderful but the fellow who checked me in did not give me any information on the pools nor what they offer in the way of water shoes and plastic pouches that you can keep your phones in. He gave a European couple in front of me a detailed rundown with all this info and more, then when my turn came to check in, he just gave me a wristband to access the lockers with only directions to the locker room. No other information, explanation, nor options offered. I didn’t think much of it until the next couple who checked in after me got the same detailed rundown as the European couple did. I didn’t want to make assumptions but it didn’t feel good. I don’t normally write reviews but felt this experience warranted a write up. All customers should be given equal treatment. Otherwise the springs themselves are magical.
