Start from the center of Borgarnes, specifically near the Borgarnes bus station. Head southeast on Borgarbraut road towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading towards Mosfellsbær. Continue straight for approximately 30 km. Once you see the sign for Mosfellsbær, look for a bus stop; this is where you can catch a bus to Hvammsvík Hot Springs. After you board the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach Hvammsvík, as it's a well-known stop. Once you get off, follow the signs to the hot springs, which should be a short walk from the bus stop.
