    Karen is a incredibly sympatic person, friendly and patient. Surroundings stunning + sun shining. Lot of cod catched. Supernice barbecue in Karens Garden/Kota. we loved it so much.

    Was an amazing experience ! My partner and I enjoyed learning how to ice fish. Photos were taken then sent to us after the experience. We were also taken back to her house to cook up the fish that was caught and eat it.

    Actually we did not take part in the event because my son got a fever. But based on the communication with Karin I can highly recommend Skadi Adventures, because I was offered two more occasions when we could join the fishing, and I could decide if we can join or not till the last moment before the trip. I am very grateful for the kind words and offers from Katrin, which was nothing guaranteed by the offer, just a very understanding, kind and generous approach.

    It’s my first time in Tromsø, and I wanted to experience ice fishing. The weather unexpectedly cooperated, and we started by drilling a hole and learning how to bait the hook. Every experience was a first for me, and I didn’t expect to catch anything. Suddenly, there was a response on the line, and I caught a fish! I thought that would be the end, but then we were invited to a cozy cabin to grill the fish and enjoy a meal with locals, accompanied by delicious hot drinks. It was a wonderful day filled with unforgettable experiences! Highly recommended for first-time visitors.

    Very nice tour! We had a lot of fun and our guide Geir was fantastic. We ate delicious fish on the barbecue and Karin welcomed us into her house, with hot chocolate and chocolate. He prepared the fish and then Geir cooked it on the BBQ. Everything was perfect. thanks Skadi adventures.

On this trip you will get a unique opportunity to catch your own fish. We will prepare the Fish With you, if you catch one. If we catch any fish, you will learn how to prepare and cook it. After the fishing trip we will drive to our basecamp and prepare a local meal with you. Our basecamp has a fantastic view of the Lyngen Alps. There will be told local stories, and you can relax in the middle of the arctic wilderness. When you have learned about our local history and are well rested, we will drive you back to the pick-up point i Tromsø. We will provide you with warm outerwear, fishing Equipment, Lunch, warm and Cold drinks. Guests must bring their own warm mittens, cap and underwear. Winter shoes are provided by special request.
