Mendut Buddhist Monastery
A pioneer of Buddhist monastery in Borobudur temple's area which was built in 1974, has great stories actualized by sculptures and decorative reliefs in the area. It is also a peaceful place to learn and practice meditation with Monks, surrounded by Muslim's village.
Candi Mendut (Temple)
The earliest Buddhist temple in this area, built by Somaratungga King of Syailendra dinasty, who was the father of the princess who built Borobudur temple in 8th century. There is 3 meters Buddha statue and other two Boddhisatva with a unique sitting position as a king.
Jeep Wisata Merapi - Day Tours
Take the Jeep's tour at Merapi volcano, visiting some great spots to see the evidence of eruption in 2008 & 2010. Experience different things apart of ancient's temples
Last but not least, we will visit another amazing ancient's temple called Prambanan temple, located 30 minutes drive from Merapi volcano. But, we will have a break for having lunch at a nice local restaurant located by a river.
