    If you love to learn about your surroundings when you first arrive in town like I do, there’s nothing better than a walking tour… To make that even better why not stop for delicious bites to eat along the way? That’s exactly what we did with Antonella. We circumnavigated the small city in a relaxed fashion, looking at super interesting things, and paused at four different relaxing bars or restaurants for bites to accompany our ongoing conversation. Wonderful! I recommend this tour highly for anyone who loves culture, food, history, and people!

    Monia was a great guide. Food stops were well planned and thought out. Beautiful city and architecture. Only issue we ran into and reason for 4 star was situation that played out at a local pasta shop where we stopped for olives, cheese and wine. My older teenage daughter went to purchase an item with a 100 euro note that she had brought with her on the trip and was asked to pay with a smaller bill. She was able to use a smaller bill after asking my wife and I for some change and then fumbling to find one in her pocketbook. After completing the transaction, she realized that she had handed the 100 bill to the vendor and asked for it back. She was then informed by the store owner that she had never handed over the $100 note. There was a relatively calm back and forth for a few minutes in the store but at the end of the day, there was nothing that any of us could do since no one witnessed the original discussion about using a smaller bill. My daughter was adamant that she had somehow “lost” the bill during the exchange…moral of the story is to just be careful when carrying cash and making transactions…complete them in one continuous process!

    Lovely tour with Antonella in the old town of Lecce with historical insight of the architecture and food. Would do again.

    Interesting tour with good local snacks and food. Antonella was very knowledgable and a great guide. The city is beautiful and we did quite a lot of interesting place with many interesting historical facts. We had 5 stops with first salty snacks and then sweets, it was enough for our lunch. We put 4 star because we think it was a bit overpriced.

    Really had a nice time. Giancarlo’s pacing and personality really helped me get oriented to the city. Nice mix of foods and went back to eat more at my favorites. We had 5 food tastings and tried things I would have certainly missed on my own. I like that the tour wasn’t about a single topic One thing to note, the start point does require parking meter parking, of which some ticket machines are easier to understand than others.
