    The tour was amazing. We went with the best guides - Armando and Elias. They were very nice, spoke great English, told us many facts about the animals and plants and history of the park and thanks to them we were able to spot animals we would never see on our own - we saw sloths, spiders, snake, birds, lizards, many species of insect and then monkeys on the beach. We were able to get a great quality pictures from our guides. We had a 10/10 experience and I would recommend this tour to everyone.

    The tour was amazing we saw so many beautiful animals thanks to our amazing guides Armando and Elias, they must have eyes of an eagle because they saw and showed us things we would never be able to see ourselves. They also told us many interesting facts about the animals and the park itself. Definitely would recommend to everyone who visits Manuel Antonio Area. Guides also took high quality pictures through the lens and then sent it to us

    Terrible disappointment. The tour was late due to some in the party not being ready on time. I believe they had been told the wrong time by the office. We had to wait with two children in the heat (no shade) and then, having got up early especially to avoid the worst of the queues, were stuck queuing to get into the park. We then had to fight our way around - Manuel Antonio is always busy, we get this but 30 mins delay first thing in the morning really does make all the difference. Not only that, once inside, our guide had no real knowledge of nature. It is an insult to proper nature guides to suggest that this company employs people who have any more knowledge than the average well read person with an interest in nature. He was relying on other guides to seek out the best places to observe the wildlife all of the time. The guides do communicate and share info, but this wasn’t just that, it was a reliance on others and we wondered why we had paid for a guide who knew little more than us! Nice guy, but didn’t teach us anything at all. When I contacted the company to complain they said a manager would get back to me. I chased several times but they never did. They clearly only care about taking money and couldn’t care less about hard working people who save up for a long time to take a trip of a lifetime and then feel robbed. I am not quick to complain. I don’t expect perfection. This though is a company to avoid.

    Guide Stephanie was well versed on the plants and animals. Her guided tour helped us to see numerous species of wildlife that we would of missed visiting the park on our own.

    This was an awesome excursion. Javier was very knowledgeable of the animals we saw. Javier was very good at spotting the animals and we would not have spotted them ourselves. This tour was definitely worth the money and strongly recommend people to do this if they are visiting Manuel Antonio national park. As a side note, many of the locals around the park said Costa Rica Jade Tours of the park is the best. We could not agree more!
