Holiday in Morroco isn't complete without visiting Marrakech that's why we booked this tour for our family. The heat of the sun, the human jungle of the souk, and the famous Morrocan architectural design all in one day. Our guide was able to explain thoroughly everything about their history, culture, and of course some tips on how to survive the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
The only thing that did not go as we planned is the itinerary posted on Viator. We asked our guide about it, but he was surprised where we got the itinerary since he has a different one. He was confused if we are really included in their group or they took us from another tour. 😅 But they saw our names on their list. Good thing is that, we are a happy-go-lucky family that we just went with the flow. Our guide is too kind to show us the way to go to the places in the itinerary posted by Viator. And yes he was right, the one written in the itinerary is too much for just one day.
The pharmacy guy was also a bit pushy when it comes to selling his products. It was part of the tour that we have to learn about Morrocan spices and other products. However, we felt like we can't leave without buying anything. Luckily, the other people from the tour bought some so we were able to leave without buying.
Still I'm giving it a 5 star for the real Morrocan experience.

This trip was unfortunately not what I expected. Firstly, the tour bus collected us at the right time around half 7. We then stopped at different hotels to pick up the rest and eventually started the actual tour. The tour guide was very friendly, however, we could not hear him clearly or understand him what he was saying in the bus. We stopped twice going to Marrakech, one being a goat place where they ask money to even take a picture of the goats, and the other being a service station. We eventually stopped in Marrakech at 12pm. When we got off, everything was quite unorganized and just couldn't understand or hear what he was saying. The group was very large too which made it difficult, especially when Marrakech was already busy. We stopped in front of the mosque but did not have enough time to take pictures, we sort of just gathered around and waited in the sun for his instructions. He then started to lead us throughout the old town. The old town was sooo pretty but it was such a shame how none of us got to stop and see or explore or take pictures. We were just continuously walking around. We then stopped at an Argan therapy place which was nice. And for lunch, we were led to another place which was really busy. That's when a lot of us requested the tour guide if we can have some free time to explore and shop. He gave us a meeting point and around half 5 we left, and got to our hotel at around quarter to 9, without a single service station stop. The full day trip was just the actual bus journey and just following a lead and walking around.
The only good things for us were the tour guides who were friendly, the few hours of free time received and the argan therapy. Also, the tour operator was very good at communicating, quick to respond and flexible and helpful prior to the activity.
It was too unorganized causing everyone to be tired. I would advise that they should just give us a meeting point and let the tourists explore, otherwise a lot of time is wasted.

Easy pick up in the morning from the hotel (remember to put proper name of hotel for pick up, otherwise it wont show up). I recommend a coffee before going, as first coffee and short foodstop is after 2hrs.
En route to Marrakech you will see a goat tree (goats on a tree).
The tour itself is well planned, and you can go with the tour or on your own.
Views are good, the restaurant they take you to is actually highly recommended on google, so no fears. Just be wary souks in Agadir have better prices ;)
Otherwise its an excellent experience of Marrakech in a nutshell.

The journeys is very interesting, travel through the mountains and berber villages. Marrakech is magical place with beautiful arhitecture, green parks, and plenty of things to see in old city.
Our very helpfull guide Akram with assistance took us through the maze of the souk, showed historical places along the way, and told interesting stories. It was brilliant experience.
We visited local palace and could see snakes and monkeys on the main square. For lunch we enjoyed traditional food from rooftop restaurant. Would highly recommend this trip.
