! Warning ! This trip takes 14 hours and nit 7 !!! (6 am to 8 pm…)
It is very cheap but it’s clearly paid for in some part by the shops/restaurants we were dropped in… so if you don’t have tome - pay more to not waist time. If you have time, do it ! It was really nice, but long (and you don’t have to buy anything, but still it’s mostly waist of time in shops).
Positive points :
- very nice driver & guide Francisco
- 2 hours at El Chiflon - amazing, I had time to visit all the waterfalls and to swim a little - perfect !
- restaurants at the lake - very authentic food and nice local people
Negative points :
- we were dropped at a restaurant at 9am for 45 minutes - it’s not included (and you don’t have to take anything, but then you have to wait outside for 45 min… just take a coffee (30 $), use the toilets and wifi and take it with patience if you’re not hungry
- 1h30 at the lake - the boat trip proposed for 200 $ to the island few dozens of meters from there - not worth it ! Juste take a walk and have some kice queso rancho at the stands
- before san cristobal we weee dropped off to the souvenir shop with some artist - not interesting at all, it took a lot of time (about an hour), we were SO tired… again, if you don’t want to waist your time, take more expensive trip ! 🤷♀️

Chiflon 폭포를 볼시간이 생각보다 넉넉하지 않아서 모든 폭포를 다보고 오니 약속시간 보다 조금 늦었습니다. 정말 폭포와 계곡은 장관이었고 7살된 아이와 같이 올라가기에도 그리 어렵지는 않았습니다. 호수는 세곳을 보았는데 자연보호를 위해 모터보트는 없고 카약만 있어 하지는 못했지만 시간 여유와 체력이 허락한다면 도전할 가치는 있어보입니다. 점심 식사 옵션이 제한적이라 간단한 간식이나 샌드위치를 준비해 가는것이 좋을것 같네요
