What to expect

The Shiretoko Valley in the southwestern part of Shikoku is one of the best canyoning spots in Japan, taking advantage of the granite strata in the Ashizuri Uwakai National Park. The stage is set in a valley through the Meguro River, one of the Shimanto River tributaries. After finishing the half-day course, you can go further and go to the top point of Japan's top 40 meters slider point “Yukiwa no Taki”. Next to Yukino Falls there is a natural Ochiai Pass that can be called a pipe slider created by nature, and you can enjoy all five large slider points in the valley.
