Meeting Point
In front of the large sign I LOVE TBILISI at the Gorgasali square in Tbilisi Old town
23 Ovanes Tumaniani St, T'bilisi , Georgia
What to expect
We will have a closer look at the Metekhi Cathedral which contains the relics of a martyr from the earliest days of Christianity.
Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali
This monumental king founded the city of Tbilisi. Do you want to know which role a pheasant played in the act of founding? Also, he provides a great look on Old Town.
Europe Square
Quite hidden we will find a piece of the Berlin Wall here, reminding us that we don't want a divided country or world
On the way up to Narikala Fortress you will get an overview over the city - literally! The cable car brings us up comfortably.
Narikala Fortress
Throning above the city, the fortress protected the area. We will guide you through the ruins and give you an outlook over early Georgian history
You can see this 20 m high statue from afar, but now you have the opportunity to get to know Mother Georgia closely. Do you wnat to know what she holds in hand and why?
Leghvtakhevi Waterfall
A waterfall in the center of the city? That's right!
The sulphur bath district is one of the major sights in Tbilisi. You'll learn about their history, how they work, what public baths mean to Georgians earlier and today - and practical tips if you want to visit one later that day by yourself (which I highly recommend!)
Jan Shardeni Street
Want some nightlife tips? Here's one hotspot. check out the places you might want to go to later that night. Also we'll pass by some interesting sculptures and pieces of public art like the monument of the Georgian Toast Master or the tragicomic street sweepers monument.
This is the main church of Tbilisi's religious life. It is located between the river and the priests's seminar which also holds some interesting architectural details.
Quite nothing in Tbilisi says more "Have a selfie with me" than the illuminated glass Bridge of Peace. And of course you'll have time to take a lot of beautiful photos here.
See the oldest church in all of Tbilisi! lt holds an icon which is said to be the imprint of Jesus' face (similar to the Holy Shroud).
Clock Tower
The tower where the angel rings every hour seems very European and unusual for Tbilisi. It is a puppet theater that has an important message written on the wall for you.
Old Town Tbilisi
The small streets and narrow alleys of Old Tbilisi are an attraction by themselves. You'll find historical buildings in devastation and renovation, street art and folk art. They tell their stories, as does your guide ;)
Freedom Square
Looking at the golden statue of Saint George in the main square of Tavisupleba you will find out the legend of him and why is he so important for Georgia. The tour ends at the bar WARSZAWA which has Polish decoration and creative drinks.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
