This village is famous for its handcrafted products of pure silver with items such as elephant miniatures, embellished boxes, and other kinds of embossed work or on request. Virtually the entire population of this village is craftsmen, the silver items from this village are distributed to both local and foreign markets. Every children growing up in the village naturally grasps how to craft silver, starting without being taught the most basics. There are about 30 - 40 families in this commune producing silver handicrafts, each is involved for three generation up and the average monthly production is 5-6 kilograms per family.
