    Cancelled by email less than 24 hours notice. Very poor customer service overall if that’s how they do business. Maybe it’s a good thing as €65 per person to rent a bike is a rip off in hindsight. Based on my experience I’d advise to book elsewhere.

    Great services and friendly staff , really enjoyed the day out on the bikes getting the shuttle bus to achill and cycling back , would recommend.

    We were very dissatisfied with the service, the lack thereof, the condition of the bicycles and the overall lack of information for this excursion. We reserved 3 bikes for the Great Western Greenway eBike tour, through Viator (USA) well in advance. When we arrived at the bike shop, right on time, we were surprised to find the bike shop closed. About 10 minutes late, the doors were opened by a woman who was not very approachable. We learned she did not have our reservation, for whatever reason, and we were told this same situation happened the day before. Apparently, there was a miscommunication between Viator (USA) and this bike shop. We should have walked away then. She took photos of our reservation and agreed to sort it out later. She haphazardly fitted us for bikes. Despite our questions about the information we were provided at the time of booking, she provided 3 bikes that she randomly chose to put us on. None of the bikes fit us properly, and only 1 bike was in good condition. She had us ride the bikes for about 1/2 of a city block and we made adjustments to the seats. However, we were unable to adjust the seat on the bike I was "assigned." We were told she only had these bikes since she didn't have our reservation. We were also told the shuttle service to Achill Island wasn't reserved in advance, so we would have to ride our bikes to Ackill Island and take Public transportation back to Westport. She refunded the cost of Public Transportation, but didn't give us any information other than that. She didn't provide maps, as part of the booking, she gave us verbal instructions that turned out to be incomplete. She made a point to tell us the bikes HAD to be left at the Achill Island Hotel by 6:00 pm. No other options and no information was given for emergency assistance. After the excursion, I reached out to Viator to express my displeasure and asked for a portion refund or credit. Viator responded after speaking to the bike shop, and we have no recourse because "bikes were provided" and therefore our excursion was completed.

    Westport to Achill via the Greenway Trail was fantastic. I opted to bike both ways but shuttle options are a great way to avoid the predictable headwind on the way out.

    Paddy and Nelly were extremely accommodating. Our tour was early in the week when tourism is slow. We were the only ones for the day and they drove us to our drop off spot. We rented the e bikes and had a great ride. Completed in under 4 to 5 hours. Had lunch along the way. A perfect way to spend the day.
