    Our two young children (and our knees) really appreciated this fun way to explore the grounds of Schönbrunn, from the doors of the palace to the top at Gloriette and back again. It’s an enjoyable hop-on, hop-off ride, with added commentary so you understand what you can see. With Gloriette being so high up, it also takes a lot of the strain out of getting there and admiring the view. It takes in stops for major attractions in the park, and shows you some parts you may never come across otherwise. The price is a little steep - though it is free for the Vienna Pass - but you could ride to a lot of places.

    An absolute necessity for someone like me with limited mobility. I got to see parts of the gardens I never would have without this little train. Very interesting narrative too.

    Ideal way to travel up to that Gloriette if you physically can’t manage the walk. Useful to hop on and off. Interesting commentary along the way. Tickets a bit expensive but a fun experience.

    I have a bad knee and found this a great way to get around the palace grounds, without having to do the uphill-downhill walk.
