This was one of my kids’ favorite activities on our trip. We really enjoyed the close up view of Portofino and the harbor and shoreline surrounding town. Our guide was great. This activity definitely requires some physical effort, so probably not for those that are not in shape. The snorkeling was enjoyable as well. It was a hot day, so that was refreshing.

We enjoyed our kayak and snorkeling tour in Portofino. The snorkeling was really the highlight. The guides were helpful and friendly and we had a great, relaxing time. We felt the kayak portion was too large a group. There was around 12 double kayaks with people of all skill levels which required us to go very slow. But, overall it was an enjoyable and beautiful experience.

One of my most favorite activities on this vacation. Guide was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting facts and stories. Beautiful scenery. Wine and the breads afterwards were great. Thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely do this again.

I had a great time. The water was nice to swim in. You kayak about half a mile and back. Portofino is stunning. The staff was nice enough. There are lockers, a shower to rinse off, and a changing area. Great price too. I wish I had booked the snorkeling.

Most memorable was that we did not kyack. The weather was cold, grey, and windy. The bay water was choppy with white caps. The few boats on the bay were bouncing. It would not have been the calm, sunny paddle shown on the website. Unfortunately, we decided to cancel and were not offered a weather refund. I'm sure it would be a delightful experience on a sunny Mediterranean day.

What to expect

In company of a kayak instructor and marine guide, paddle along the coast from Paraggi to the picturesque port of Portofino and beyond to the Olivetta and the Lighthouse. Get captured by the charm of these areas rich in history and curiosity. At the foot of the lighthouse where nature gets more "wild", a refreshing dip in front of the breathtaking landscape is an experience not to be missed. We offer 3 different options, depending of the period of the year and with two different starting date. The meeting is in Niasca Bay, via Duca degli Abruzzi 62 Portofino, twenty minutes before the start of the activity.
