The best way to really see and get to know Washington DC, hear great, engaging stories, and learn the history of the city and the country. Great equipment, wonderful guide, perfect pace; couldn't give Jeff and his company a higher recommendation.

Jeff is the real deal. From the moment we met, I could feel his passion for what he does. I chose Jeff based on his incredible reviews and I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. Our daughter has special needs and can't ride a bike independently. Jeff offered us a tandem and was so engaging. He really goes above and beyond. We could have never visited this many historical monuments and landmarks on foot. We had booked a 3 hour ride, but we extended it because we were having so much fun. If we didn't have a plane to catch, we would have stayed even longer. He always had a fun story and great suggestions for photo ops. Jeff, we can't thank you enough for a fantastic ride and a perfect ending to our trip. It's so apparent you live life to the fullest and do what you love. Thankful our paths crossed. Hope to ride again with you in the future!

This custom tour was absolutely fantastic! From Bethesda, we took the Capital Cresent Trail into the city, paid our respects at the Martin Luther King Jr memorial, captured a group pic under the cherry blossoms, explored The Wharf in southwest DC, rode through the beautifully tranquil Anacostia Park, and took the Rock Creek Park bikeway home - all on off road trails or protected bike lanes. It truly was an amazing day of riding with friends. Many, many thanks to Jeff who not only created a route for multiple skill levels but also provided us with snipets of history (and snacks!) throughout the ride.

If there’s one thing you do while visiting DC with 11-year-old kids it’s Jeff tour. We spent the day with him and had truly the greatest time if we left the day after our trip to DC would be complete. He was patient knowledgeable, and wonderful company for the day. I highly recommend biking with Jeff. I learned a lot about the layout of the Mall and monuments. Jeff explained what we were seeing in a thoughtful, engaging manner. Our group consisted of two teen girls and two Moms in town for a Mom/Daughter DC Spring break trip. All four of us girls and ladies felt safe 100% of the time doing the night bike ride. I called Jeff prior to booking. He gave us excellent suggestions about the timing of the ride. We enjoyed the sunset and saw the monuments at night which was memorable. He also patiently took many great pictures. The bikes and helmets were quality. Jeff was punctual and checked carefully to make sure the bikes and helmets fit us. This is a fun and safe experience for families or a group of women with a genuinely kind guide.

From the moment Jeff picked us up until the moment he dropped us off, our day with Jeff was spectacular and everything we possibly could have asked for. Prior to beginning our ride Jeff ensured that the equipment he provided fit us perfectly and was top quality. Among the 4 of us on the tour, two of us are life long Washingtonians and two of us live in Maine. Jeff was extraordinarily knowledgeable about every stop we made along the trip. All of us learned a great deal about the places Jeff took us to. We highly recommend Jeff to all levels of bikers and all age groups. You will learn a lot about Washington sites and have a great time on your bike ride.

We had a wonderful family-friendly bike tour with Jeff. Before our trip, he was attentive to each of our specific interests. He thinks of everything! Waters, snacks, hats, gloves, no detail was missed. He was engaging with our whole family and makes you love DC as much as he does! Hands down the best thing I decided to book for our family DC trip. My kids aren’t the biggest fans of museums and sightseeing in general. Geoff was funny, kind and super knowledgeable. His bikes are comfortable and high performing. He is a great communicator which made planning with him easy as can be. He had all of us fully engaged for 3 full hours. He is also very flexible- picked us up from our hotel in Georgetown and dropped us off where we needed to be for our next tour. The kids were complaining the minute we got off the bikes. We would absolutely recommend DC Cycling to anyone (even if you don’t have kids) and would book him again in a heartbeat. We were able to cover so much ground on the bikes so it was very efficient as well.

The bike tour flew by so quickly, we went over our 4 hours and could've gone even longer. Jeff is engaging and full of interesting history. We truly loved every minute of it and would do it again in a heartbeat. He arrived at our hotel with everything we needed and the bikes were comfortable. We learned so much more from him than we did on our other tours. Highly recommend that you trust Jeff to show DC to you through his eyes.
