What to expect
Seoul
If you discover Seoul, we can do with you some "classics", such as the surroundings of palaces, with a preference for Changdeokgung and its sublime Secret Garden, classified by UNESCO for their way of immersing themselves in nature. Secret Garden that we can help book in advance and show among Korean groups. But we mostly take you where others don't, unusual places like the old heart of Seoul in full conversion, Euljiro, the more mountainous north of Seoul (traditional Iwha-dong and its murals, the upscale Pyeongchang-dong and its galleries), the new hipster neighborhood of Seongsu or the neighborhood where I live, Hongdae, heart of the art and student scene. We can go further, as we have often done, according to requests, as follows: - Photogenic places for photographers – Drama/cinema related venues (I work in cinema!), or K-pop, or webtoon, because we coordinated many docs/reports on these topics. - Crafts - Maison Bleue (former presidential palace open to the public since 2022) - Dongdaemun Market Tissue Search - Escape game and VR cafe
Changdeokgung, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Seoul, is a stunning blend of traditional architecture and serene nature. Visitors will be enchanted by its beautiful gardens, historical significance, and the peaceful atmosphere that makes it a must-visit destination for tourists.
Daerim Central Market
Ihwa-dong Mural Village in Seoul is a vibrant destination for art lovers and cultural enthusiasts. Nestled in the hills, this colorful neighborhood showcases stunning murals and art installations that breathe life into the streets. Visitors can wander through narrow alleyways adorned with creative works by local artists, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the city. A must-visit for tourists looking to immerse themselves in Seoul's unique artistic expression.
Located in the vibrant Seocho District of Seoul, Banpo Bridge is a must-see landmark celebrated for its breathtaking views and stunning rainbow fountain. This iconic bridge is not only a vital transportation link but also an artistic wonder, offering visitors a unique experience as they stroll along its walkway, especially during the evening when the fountain comes alive with color. The bridge's picturesque setting, framed by the Han River and the city skyline, makes it a perfect spot for photography and relaxation. Don't miss the chance to experience this beautiful blend of engineering and nature on your visit to Seoul.
Nestled in the heart of Gangnam, Bongeunsa Temple offers a serene escape from the bustling city. This stunning Buddhist temple, founded in the 10th century, features beautiful architecture, tranquil gardens, and a rich cultural heritage, making it a must-visit for tourists seeking peace and spirituality in Seoul.
Hongdae Street, a vibrant hub in Seoul, is renowned for its youthful energy, eclectic art scene, and lively nightlife, making it a must-visit destination for tourists seeking a taste of contemporary Korean culture.
