    The best thing to do is to do the tour early morning as you walk up to the top then listen to the guide during the walk down. She was professional, intelligent, and humorous . Her name is Niobe and she’s a GEM.

    Booked a private mythology tour of the Acropolis for my friend and I. Vicki was amazing! She explained in detail every site we saw on the Acropolis and even took us to some nearby sites as well. She was extremely friendly and informative and took a bunch of pictures of us without question! She even let me keep her Athens fan as a souvenir :)

    The beginning of the tour was fantastic, learning about ancient Greek democratic practices, philosophy and Socrates. But by the time we got up to the Acropolis, it was packed with people and the tour resembled the crowd - jumbled, overloaded, hard to follow. It felt more like a data dump. She could have reduced content by half, and focused more on story-telling, particularly for kids. But, she was super knowledgable, patient and funny. I would really recommend going to the Acropolis Museum before climbing up there, to give you a sense of what the place looked like.
