Getting There

    From the center of Koukaki, head northeast on Veikou Street towards the Acropolis. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. Turn left onto Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, which is a pedestrian-friendly area. Follow this street, and you will see the entrance to the Acropolis. Please note that there is an entrance fee to access the Acropolis. As of now, the ticket price is approximately €20. Once inside, follow the signs to the Temple of Athena Nike, which is located on the southwest corner of the Acropolis. The walk from Koukaki to the temple should take around 20-30 minutes.

  • Public Transport (Metro)

    From Koukaki, walk to the nearest metro station, which is Syggrou-Fix Station (about a 10-minute walk). Take the Metro Line 1 (Green Line) towards Kifisia. After one stop, transfer at Monastiraki to Line 3 (Blue Line) towards the airport. Get off at the next station, which is Akropolis. Exit the station and follow the signs to the Acropolis. The entrance to the site is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Remember that the metro ticket costs around €1.40 for a single journey.
