What to expect
Monkey Temple
We will pick you from the place you are staying in Jaipur at 8:30 a.m and bring you first to visit Monkey Temple. Participants travel in an air conditioned vehicle with travel specialist driver. Situated at about a distance of 10km from Jaipur in the city of Khania-Balaji, the Galtaji temple which is also known as Monkey Temple is a Hindu pilgrimage often visited by the people from all over the country.
Chand Baori, Abhaneri
The drive is of 2 hours from Jaipur. On arrival at the destination, you would be provided lunch and then show you Abhaneri Stepwell. Chand Baori is the oldest surviving step well in Rajasthan and probably India. It was built by the King named Chanda or Chandra of the Nikhumbha dynasty. The time of the stepwell is 8-9th CE making it 1200-1300 years old. Yes, it is older than Taj Mahal, Khajuraho Temples, and Chola Temples but younger than Ajanta and Ellora Caves. When you stand next to this 13 story deep step well with symmetric triangular steps leading to the water at the bottom, you cannot but be mesmerized. You, of course, understand that in the desert of Rajasthan, it is a practical water management solution. It also serves as a natural cooler in summer months. But, what inspired the people of those days to build it so beautifully. After Abhaneri we will drive you to Bhangarh.
Bhangarh is a village & haunted place situated in Rajgarh Alwar, Rajasthan state of India. It is famous for its historical ruins and is considered to be one of India's many haunted locations. It is situated in the Rajgarh municipality of the Alwar district in Rajasthan. Bhangarh is at the edge of the Sariska Tiger Reserve. The town was established in 1573 (VS 1631) during the rule of Kachwaha Rajput ruler of Jaipur Bhagwant Das as the residence of his second son Madho Singh, the younger brother of Emperor Akbar's general, Man Singh I. Trespassing near Bhangarh is legally prohibited between sunset and sunrise as it is said to be haunted. After finishing the sightseeing we will drive you back to Jaipur which is 90 mins of drive.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
