    Picnic lunch with Champagne on top of sand dune. Driver who went the extra mile to give us a very special experience.

    Fabulous fun-filled day trip in and around the Namib desert. We saw flamingos, the desert gheko, black backed jackals and ostriches, the salt factory and more before heading out to the sand dunes. It was a real thrill to zip up and down, somewhat like being on a giant roller coaster. A lovely lunch was served atop one of the dunes. All in all a great day. Highly recommend!

    Sandwich Dune Tours and Safari sold us (my wife and I) a "full day tour to Sandwich Harbour", but early in the morning they told us that we would not leave at 10AM, but at 12AM. I was quite surprised because I've read the tides chart and this 12AM schedule wasn't looking good at all as we needed a low tide in order to reach SH. I asked if they were sure that we would go to SH and to Pelican Point. The answer was "yes, for sure !". Then we waited again : new postponed until 12:30, then until 13:00. Then we realize that it wouldn't be possible to do the full day tour, but only the half day tour ! But at last it was time to start the tour, so we left. Sandwich Dune Tours and Safari decided by their own to switch our trip and to put us into an Italian group of 18 people. They didn't have enough cars or drivers and - of course - they favoured the most numerous ones (big group = $$$) and decided to put us with them without saying anything to us. So actually they lied to us on everything : the schedule, the type of tour, the tides, etc. And they knew all of this at the beginning, they knew thaht we coldnt reach Sandwich HArbour. The only true "thing" was the true price we had to pay, which was the price of a full day tour ! When we went back to the office after the tour, I was really furious, calling them "thiefs and liars". Then they "offered" a free Dolphin cruise the next morning in order to give us a compensation. But it will not change my review : shame on them ! They lie to their customers and they try to steal their money.
