This is our first of several pizza stops. We visit only the classics that gave fame to Argentina's pizza reputation. At each place, we try different varieties, focusing on each location's specialty. Here we start things off with a spinach and white bechamel sauce pizza.

Our second location has another great classic porteño pizza. Here we are going to try a combination of mozzarella pizza with faina. Here is where the Italian influence shines. Faina is an Italian flatbread made with chickpea flour.

The Gran Rex theater in Buenos Aires was designed by Alberto Prebisch and completed in 1937. Alberto also designed the Obelisco.
