The indigenous people of Bani Riyam have painstakingly created and cultivated the impressive terraces over many years. Today, mainly rose orchards, pomegranates and olive trees are grown. The unique irrigation system called "Falaj" will immediately catch your eye as fresh water comes bubbling from springs in the mountains. During the flower season from March to May, Damask roses are in full bloom and perfume the air. Local family will show you traditional distillery and how rose water is made.
